For over 12 years, the WAMA project has been supported by a dedicated team of volunteers whose tireless efforts have built community, raised awareness, and brought our beautiful endemic garden to life. As we expand, we’re seeking new volunteers who share a love for art and nature and want to make a difference. Interested in joining our team?

WAMA acknowledges the Djab Wurrung and Jardwadjali people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which the gallery and gardens are located. We honour their ongoing care and connection to the lands and waters of Gariwerd, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.
