Blue Sky Mine (Diptych) represents the barren land in country after the completion and abandonment of mining once the land is no longer of commercial and/or profitable use. Alongside the ‘hole in the ground’ mining leaves behind this work endeavours to record a visual reminder of a notable political issue involving the health of mining workers in our history.
