WAMA is now recruiting for a number of positions.
GENERAL MANAGER
The General Manager is responsible for administering the business of WAMA, ensuring that operations are efficient, effective, and sustainable.
Key responsibilities encompass strategy and financial management, governance, procurement, human resources, IT systems, security, virtual and onsite office operations, internal and external policies and procedures, and secretarial duties for the Board of Directors.
EXHIBITIONS MANAGER
The Exhibitions Manager is responsible for end-to-end exhibition project management including all aspects of scheduling and logistics from organising loans, establishing contracts, artwork production, coordinating freight, and coordinating install/deinstall, under the general guidance of the CEO. They also take a lead role in caring for the WAMA collection, and maintaining and supervising the Gallery loading dock and workshop.
EXPERIENCE & ENGAGMENT MANAGER
The Experience & Engagement Manager is a multi-faceted role for an energetic individual, who will be responsible for WAMA’s visitor experience, retail and venue hire operations, and membership program, with additional duties relating to event support, volunteer management and the engagement of public programming facilitators.
MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
The Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for WAMA’s online presence and engagement: managing the website, EDMs, social platforms (Instagram, Facebook), and event ticketing alongside the development, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation of proactive, high-impact and integrated marketing campaigns. Furthermore, the Marketing and Communications Manager will work alongside exhibition staff and guest curators to develop compelling and accessible exhibition interpretation.
