‘Tidelines’ is constructed wholly from seaweed paper. It was inspired by my love of the sea and my long beach walks collecting seaweed from the tidelines to use for papermaking. Different types of seaweed were processed separately to give different pulps, enabling the creation of ‘tidelines’ within the paper.

The delicate sculptural dress reflects the beauty and fragility of our coastal environment.
It is displayed on an acrylic stand.
